Here is a pair of earrings I made last month called, Distressed Heart. They are riveted Sterling Silver, Copper, and Brass. The copper I ran through a rolling mill with an index card that I had hole punched a bunch of hearts on. The sterling, that I cut the heart out of, I also ran through the rolling mill, but this time with window screening. The sterling heart and brass flower spacer are cold connected onto the copper with a copper rivet. The earrings were oxidized with liver of sulfur. I then hit them with some seriously rough steel wool to create a distressed feel. Love The Look! They are at an art gallery as we speak.
